The INTERSUBLI products are water-based and ecological (directive 91/155 C.E.E.).
Applications are mainly on synthetic (polyester...) or mixed synthetic fabrics: sportswear, swimwear, umbrellas, ties, flags..., and also coated surfaces (ceramic, metal, wood, hardboard...).

The preparation of screen printing inks is very simple: just add INTERSUBLI Color Concentrates, while mixing in INTERSUBLI Clear Base. Add Thickener if necessary (up to 3%, increases ink viscosity).

The amount of INTERSUBLI Color Concentrates will depend on the desired color. For a flat screen printing application on paper, to get a top color intensity will require mixing in from 7 to 20%. To get a high adhesive power with the fabric (in order to prevent double imaging problems during the transfer), we recommend to use our Strong Glue.
For manual printing equipment, you can delay the drying time adding our Retarder. The ink is screen printed (mesh 77T-130T, 60-80 shore) on a 80-170 gr/cm2 paper (non siliconated), dried between colors at room temperature or in a drying oven at 40-50 oC.

The transfers are sublimated with a heat press onto the fabric: 210 oC, medium pressure, 30s time.
